Joining Newton as a Senior Advisor in 2009, Lawrence has over 20 years board level experience as a director of various FTSE100 companies. He has held the positions of Supply Chain Director of J.Sainsbury, and Managing Director of Sainsbury's Convenience Business, as well as being Non-executive Director at Christian Salvesen and Group Operations Director at Safeway plc.
With unparalleled consumer industry understanding, Lawrence has also successfully taken on roles including President of the Freight Transport Association, Chairman of the CIES Logistics Committee, Member of the Government Commission for Integrated Transport (CfIT) and Member of the Government Road Haulage Forum.
