Contractual acceptance
Complex products – like those delivered by the defence industry – have to meet specifications that require the customer's approval at each stage of development to ensure the contract is correctly fulfilled. Delays in completing the paperwork can lead to late delivery and a risk that the contract has not been accurately discharged. Using robust IT tools and our process improvement expertise, we ensure that paperwork approval progresses alongside the actual product so that it can be delivered on time and fully signed off.
Through life support
With through life support often accounting for over 80% of the true cost of a purchase, our experience in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, spares management and technical support enable us to analyse cost structure, target excessive areas of expense and drive margin.
Availability contracting
Our work improves availability and ensures contractual targets are satisfied, as well as reducing operating costs to increase profitability. We introduce operational improvements in areas such as inventory management, sourcing, supplier management and purchase/repair strategy
Training
Our in-depth experience of working in military training facilities has given us expertise in areas such as complex PFI contracts, payment and penalty drivers, and in unified performance dashboards that give a single view of performance across an entire programme. We have also developed bespoke software to rationalise and improve training materials and have a sound understanding of military training standards.
