Why I chose Newton
I came across Newton as a potential client and was impressed with their honest approach and guaranteed results. I was working for a manufacturer of heating products where I rapidly progressed to become the youngest plant manager in the group. After working as Plant Manager for 3 years I found that the opportunities to continue to progress and the challenges that the job posed were limited. Newton offered new challenges in varying industries and brilliant career progression opportunities.
Career Highlight
I took a leading role in transforming a manufacturing business by significantly reducing manufacturing costs, which took the unit from the worst performing in the group to the best. This led to production volumes being moved to the UK from previously cheaper Eastern European factories.
What makes a good Newton consultant?
Someone who has sound technical ability, an eye for identifying potential improvement areas, combined with good people skills and determination.
Outside of Work
I enjoy the outdoors – walking, camping, mountain biking and any endurance challenges that brings these things together. I also enjoy days and nights out socialising with friends and family and taking time out on both winter and summer holidays.
