Barry Stickings CBE
Barry joined Newton in early 2011 in the role of Senior Advisor, bringing with him over 40 years of experience across the global chemicals industry. Throughout his career he has held various executive level positions at BASF, including Managing Director, Group Vice President and Chairman.
Barry has taken an active interest in the growth of the industry and has held several board positions in the Chemical Industries Association, the Government's Chemicals Innovation and Growth Team, the UK Chemistry Leadership Council and UK Trade and Investment.
Some of Barry's current endeavours include chairing Promethean Particles, BioCity Nottingham and the Strategic Advisory Board for the School of Chemistry. He is a Director at Vitalize Health Products, Trustee and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Industry and Parliament, Vice President of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce, as well as a board member of the Prince Edward Island BioAlliance.
Bill Bolsover CBE
As a qualified engineer by background, Bill began his impressive career in the construction industry over 40 years ago and joined Newton in early 2011 as a Senior Advisor.
He held various management and board positions at Tarmac and was responsible for developing the business through major strategic reviews. Bill's tenure at Tarmac gave him extensive industry experience which he took with him to Aggregate Industries Ltd. Previously the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bill now holds the position of Non-executive Chairman of the Board
As well as being a Lt Colonel of the Royal Engineer and Logistic Staff Corps and a member of the Institution of Royal Engineers, Bill is a Director of the Mineral Products Association, a board member of the UK Green Building Council, a member of the Worshipful Company of Paviors, a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RAS) and a Freeman of the City of London, among other notable positions.
