What is the role?

The Employer Brand Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of the campaigns we take to market to attract exceptional candidates for Newton, across both Experienced Hire and Graduate audiences. This position will also support our key digital channels and analyse and report on their performance.

Building and managing an organisation’s reputation as an employer has been proven to demonstrably increase the quality of individuals we hire, the level of engagement that existing employees have and can be shown to assist in the profitability of the organisation overall.

Developing a coherent, compelling and relevant employer brand is therefore a vital part of our ongoing people strategy.

As the team is growing, we are looking for a coordinator who can help us as we take on new exciting projects to build our brand. We are looking for someone who will play a pivotal role in supporting the team to create and deliver successful campaigns. We’d like someone with a mix of creative flair, an interest in analytics, with a planning and organised mindset.

The key roles and responsibilities for the Employer Brand Coordinator are as follows:

General responsibilities

Ensure that we present the whole story of what it is like to work at Newton across multiple channels. Help the team deliver externally-facing plans and outputs that conveys the qualities of working at Newton including press activity, videos, web copy, job boards adverts, emails and social media posts. This includes:

Project management and delivery support for the Employer Brand team. Particular day-to -day responsibilities include the following:

  • Understand the employer branding proposition and ensure it is implemented across our communication activities
  • Support Experienced Hire and Graduate campaign in the design, planning and delivery of campaign plans
  • Work closely with the Creative and Communications specialist, and external agencies, to deliver high quality assets or collateral
  • Organise content and asset creation (video, artwork, copy, social posts) for roll out internally and externally
  • Carry out competitor research, and regularly report on key trends
  • Coordinate regular key internal and supplier meetings.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of employer brand web pages, working closely to coordinate design and development agencies
  • Manage the planning and creation of email marketing activities, including creating templates and writing copy, and managing the database via the CRM system (Hubspot/Candidate ID)
  • Set up tracking systems to monitor performance of our digital channels.

Key responsibilities

There are some key channels that require on-going support and monitoring to ensure that Newton maintains an ‘always on’ and consistence presence.

Digital channels

  • Manage ongoing maintenance of employer brand web pages, working closely to coordinate design and development agencies
  • Manage the planning and creation of email marketing activities, including creating templates and writing copy, and managing the database via the CRM system (Hubspot/Candidate ID)
  • Set up tracking systems to monitor performance of our digital channels.

Project management coordination

  • Support the team to be most efficient through the coordination of a project management tool.
  • Coordinate team specialists in the design and creation of a campaign plan and supporting delivery of that plan.

Performance management reporting

  • Monitor performance of our key channels (web pages, podcast, email marketing, social and advertising) and overall campaign performance. Use data to deliver learnings and insight.
  • Prepare and produce a performance report on a monthly basis, maintaining a performance dashboard.
