Design

We have worked with some of the UK's largest design teams and their sub-contractors across Europe, and have an unrivalled record of achieving significant, financially quantifiable improvement in design delivery performance. We tackle the problems faced by design departments and unlock value across build programmes by addressing the root causes of errors, deficiencies and delays. We also work with design teams to drive significant improvements in rate of design delivery, while dramatically reducing errors and the need for change downstream.

Our teams understand the challenges of system-orientated design, part-orientated manufacture, area-orientated production and system-orientated commissioning. We address the problems of information flow between different functions and different design areas, including across different countries and time zones, developing and modifying business processes and systems to sustain improvements.

Engineering change

One of the major challenges to complex programmes is the management of engineering change. Change is often responsible for causing the greatest schedule delays and cost escalation, and its impact greatly increases after each stage of the production process.
