The opportunity – our Defence & Infrastructure cluster

You’ll be joining and leading our Defence & Infrastructure cluster, which has a healthy new business pipeline. It is an exciting time to join the team as the success of one of our main accounts has opened the opportunity to develop a much broader portfolio of propositions enabling us to have greater impact than ever. The senior team has continued to grow and diversify an exciting mix of home-grown talent and the addition of some fantastic experienced hires that will help drive our ambitions further.

As part of this journey, we are looking to invest further into our senior leadership team by hiring for a number of Directors. You’ll join our Leadership Advisory Board, which comprises of some of the most influential and heavyweight figures in the sector. You’ll be a key player in leading and driving our growth agenda.

Your role

You’ll be responsible for growing and fostering relationships to grow this sector, drive strategic direction, become a trusted advisor and an inspirational leader.

You’ll manage and augment one or more client accounts, engaging at CXO level; becoming a trusted advisor. In these complex and multifaceted transformational programmes, you’ll lead teams of consultants to ensure that delivery expectations are met.

You’ll become a recognised profile and an authority in the external market; have the opportunity to speak at requisite events, leveraging senior advisor relationships.

What we’re looking for

You will be an experienced, customer-centric leader who has a real passion for solving the toughest issues for clients, helping them in making substantial and real changes in the way they operate and supporting them through this journey.

As a Director, you will possess proven track record of operating as an effective leader in a consulting firm and be able to demonstrate broad capability experience across business development, delivery and line management. Significant experience of leading large-scale programmes of change is essential, with a passion and enthusiasm for driving change and delivering results.

We are looking for Directors with a track record and appetite of account management; experience of senior stakeholder engagement, having built and sustained key relationships. You will have strong experience of owning and managing client accounts and consulting teams of between 20 to 60 consultants. You will also have domain experience in an area of the private sector and be recognised as a significant authority in your area of expertise.
