Graduate Roles

  • Operations Consultant
    UK - Field Based

Our Operations Consultants work alongside a variety of clients to design and implement programmes that deliver real, sustainable change. You’ll be working on site, from the shop floor to the boardroom and everywhere in between. Every mission and every client is different, but our model of work doesn’t change.

On a day to day basis, you’ll be working with our clients to identify opportunities for operational improvement and then plan and implement the changes that need to happen to solve the problem.

You’ll also contribute to internal training, capability development and improvement projects, managing or supporting clients and peers. In this role you'll gain responsibility early and progress quickly.

  • Digital Consultant
    UK - Field Based

Our Digital Consultants work alongside the Operations Consultants on client sites, understanding every detail of how their business operates and uses technology. You will be working together with our clients to help them generate and understand large data sets, and by manipulation and analysis of this data, provide new insight into their biggest problems whilst designing and implementing appropriate solutions.

You’ll have the support and training needed to help you overcome any challenge, no matter how technically complex. In doing so, you will be at the forefront of the data revolution, leading both Newton and our clients through it.

  • Summer Academy
    UK - Oxfordshire

Our Summer Academy programme is designed to help students from underrepresented backgrounds develop the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in consulting. Visit our office in Oxfordshire and spend time learning from Newton consultants and external trainers, building up the skills you'll need to thrive in the consulting industry and other professional environments.

At Newton we don’t offer work experience due to the nature of our work with clients, but we do give deferred job offers so welcome applications from students in their penultimate year of university.

Our recruitment process is designed to help get the very best out of you and show what life at Newton is all about. It could take as little as a week to become part of the team and you’ll benefit from useful development feedback at every stage. Here’s what our process looks like…

    Apply online

Get to know our business and if you think we could be a good fit, fill in our application form online. The next stage of the process will be our online maths and data interpretation tests.

    • Are you comfortable analysing numbers and quickly digesting complex data? If that’s a yes, then you could be a great addition to the team.

    • That’s why we ask that you complete two short multiple-choice tests, one numerical and one data interpretation.

    • You’ll have seven days to complete the tests on our online application portal. They take an hour total and you’ll need a pen, paper and calculator.

    • We want to help you prepare as much as possible, so we offer practice questions to help you get familiar with the types of questions you’ll be asked.

    • If you have any questions before the test or if you have any technical difficulties, please do get in touch with our team who will be happy to help.
