Newton's PASplus+ healthcare system has been developed as a solution to maximise the productivity of vital A&E, theatre and outpatient facilities as well as improve patient care. Before considering introducing a new system like PASplus+, we ensure Trusts have first fully optimised their existing systems. Some ofNewton's largest programmes, which have resulted in multi-million pound savings, have not required any new technology.

An overview of our range:

PASPlus+ Theatres Reporting
This system shows three aspects of theatres reporting: Future booking to allow booking clerks to quickly locate spare capacity to ensure efficient scheduling of operations; live reporting showing activity in theatres in real-time; and performance reporting, which shows how well consultants have historically performed.

PASPlus+ Outpatients Reporting
This system shows two aspects of outpatients reporting: Future booking to allow booking clerks to quickly locate spare capacity to ensure efficient scheduling of appointments, and performance reporting which shows how well consultants have historically performed.

PASPlus+ Bed Management
This is a real-time interactive view of all patients currently in a hospital. Communicating with PAS and paired with electronic whiteboards on wards, it captures next steps, critical patient information and medically fit status, sharing this with other areas of the hospital.

Ward Call
This is a communication aid between wards and theatres. Knowing the average time it takes to transfer a patient between a certain ward and theatre prompts ward staff to starting preparing patients at suitable times prior to their procedure.
